Integrated Rural Development with Inclusive Growth(Outreach Initiative)
The Jankidevi Bajaj Gram Vikas Sanstha, Jamnalal Kaniram Bajaj Trust and Jamnalal Bajaj Sewa Trust with funding partnership with Council for Advancement of People’s Action and Rural Technology (CAPART), Khadi & Village Industries Commission, National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), respective State Governments and beneficiaries undertake rural development activities. The activities include:
Provision of pure drinking water
Propagation of low-cost individual latrines and construction of more than 10,000 latrines in over 150 villages
Building a Sanitation Training Centre for training of Government officials and NGOs
Developing a Sanitation Park displaying models of individual latrines with financial support from UNICEF and Government of Maharashtra
Distribution of solar lanterns and solar cookers
Installation of biogas plants
Deepening and widening of wells and drinking water scheme
Tree plantation/horticulture/kitchen gardens
Lift irrigation
Veterinary services like insemination, vaccination and distribution of cattle feed
Watershed management / development of a model village
