Chose Bougad village in Pithoragarh district,Uttaranchal for women welfare activities. Set up small ‘Mandals’ for tenagers, a ‘one hour school’ for girls and personality development activities for children. Extended the Ashram activities to Dhauladevi block of Almora district establishing Bal Mandirs. Launcehed a campaign against blasting & excavation in soapstone quarries.
