Born in France. The First Recipient of the Jamnalal Bajaj International Award. Received his initial induction of Gandhian thought from Lanza Del Vesto (Shantidas). As a member of the Ark Community used his intellectual and physical capacities to promote the cause of peace, non violence, brotherhood and fundamental humanism inherent in all religions. The Ark Community represents an alternative to the Western lifestyle. Acquired international fame for establishing a model of Gandhian work in South Morocco.
