A.M.M. Murugappa Chettiar Research Centre
The Photo-synthesis & Energy Division, headed by Dr. C.V.Seshadri, was established in 1977. Its basic areas of research are the application of biotechnology as well as wind and solar energy for achieving self sufficiency in food, fodder and energy.
